Our Workmanship Guarantee

Here at Tripz-IT, we take pride in the work we do for our customers. We also don’t want to hide all of our terms behind a book’s worth of text, so we’ll keep it easy.

Most Important: Your Data

  • When we work on your desktops, laptops, or other electronic computing devices, you assume all risk of loss of data. We don’t aim to lose your data, but unexpected events may occur. This may even happen if you’re using our Backup your PC! backup service. We will try to recover the most we can in the event of a storage device failure when using our backup service. If a storage device failure occurs while performing an unrelated service, we may recommend replacing the part and we may attempt a backup service upon your request.

Our Parts Guarantee

  • We guarantee the function of all of our parts related to the service for 60 days. This means we will return to your residence, within reason, and replace the related components for no cost. There are limitations to this however. If said part rapidly jumps in cost, we may ask for you to help cover the difference. If the cost rapidly declines, you have the ability to request a difference on us. It is important to know that a lot of parts we may use may have their own warranties. If you’re confident in your abilities, we encourage you to use the manufacturer’s warranty. However, this will void the guarantee if the part ends up broken due to user repair. We don’t cover unrelated parts that happen to also fail within the 60 day timeframe.

Our Right to Refuse Service

  • At Tripz-IT we strive to work with any and all customers! However, we may refuse service if we feel the distance is too far, unexpected events, threats to safety, unsafe locations, personally unsafe, aggressive pets, or any other legally covered reasons. This may be as simple as, you were rude to us and we don’t want to work with you. If you scheduled and paid for a deposit for a service we refused, you will be refunded that amount. Repeated unsolicited calls to our phone number may also result in your number being blocked and you unable to acquire service via phone.

Parts Ordering & Shipping Time

  • We may have to order parts online to perform builds, upgrades, or repairs. The delivery time for these parts or components will vary, and we will attempt to inform you of the delivery time for the components before ordering. We may ask for payment of the shipped component up front to make installation and resolution as smooth as possible. However, this is not guaranteed and, depending on stock, we may have certain parts on-hand ready to go. It is not guaranteed we will have every component needed on-hand. We will attempt to inform you of any delays in shipment of parts that may end up pushing back a scheduled appointment. If a component gets delayed in shipping far enough to interfere, will attempt to reschedule the visit to your earliest convenience. However, we will not do partial or full refunds for deposits if we have to reschedule the visit. If you unfortunately wish to cancel the appointment due to delays, you may do so. However, the deposit placed for travel + time worked may be kept depending on circumstances.
